SOXOS Vitals Liz Gleadle Partnership Reels

Objective

SOXOS partnered with 3x Olympian javelin thrower Liz Gleadle to launch a sock line inspired by her original design ideas. I was tasked with editing a short-form video of Liz announcing the collaboration and revealing the sock collection. Later on, I was also responsible for repurposing an interview Liz had into short-form content.

Execution

After receiving the footage from Liz, I reviewed it to ensure we had everything we needed. Liz was thrilled about the opportunity and I wanted to share that energy in the reel. The final version of the reel shared how the collaboration started, showcased the whole sock line, and captured Liz’s excitement with launching her own product line.

While editing the launch reel, the co-owner of SOXOS recorded an in-depth interview with Liz. Liz shared her journey to becoming an Olympian athlete, her philosophy on performance and life, memorable moments, and the stories behind each sock design. My job was to repurpose key moments from the interview into short-form reels for the SOXOS Vitals Instagram page. I reviewed the three-hour long interview and timestamped moments that had strong storytelling potential for social media. Each reel told a unique story — from the inspirations behind each sock design to the mindset Liz developed throughout her athletic career.

SOXOS Introduction Video

Objective

SOXOS exhibited at the annual Pet Expo in Mississauga where they designed and produced personalized socks on site. When they were invited again the following summer, SOXOS wanted to add a custom product marketing video designed to drive conversions. I was responsible for creating a video introducing the brand, product, and order process.

Execution

My strategy was to create a video that combined social proof with product education. This was done with customer reaction video content, images, and Etsy reviews highlighting the benefits and product quality. For product education, I created a short animation that visually showed the process with supporting text.

Canva was my tool of choice since it helps with faster video editing for projects that don’t require advanced editing and animations. The final video was a product marketing asset that supported conversions while the physical socks displayed at the booth attracted attention.

SOXOS Customer Reaction Reel

Objective

After the busy holiday season, I pitched the idea to create a reel that celebrated our customers. The inspiration came from the joy I felt during the Pet Expo event, seeing how happy our customers were.

Execution

I browsed the content library and gathered a mix of user-generated reactions and reactions recorded at Pet Expo. While editing, I added captions that included emojis and motion animation to make the reel more engaging and energetic. This resulted in a reel that highlights the backbone of every business—the customers. This reel is currently pinned on the Instagram page and continues to express the appreciation SOXOS has for their community.
